Jeroen van Dam As a photographer and urban explorer, I try to discover and capture hidden or abandoned parts of the city, such as empty buildings, tunnels and rooftops. I am fascinated by cities at night, when the streets seem 'empty', but the city's hardware is still running. My photos often tell a story: sometimes about the location where the image was taken, a place that may no longer exist. Or about the person in the photo, who sometimes has an intriguing personal history. Urban exploring is an extreme form of photography; challenging and not without risk. But because of the effort it took to create these images, I often have an emotional connection with the photos, the locations and especially with the people I have met on my adventures.

Acrylic glass

Anti reflection
Luxury art without distracting reflections This limited edition artwork is crafted with attention to detail and high-quality materials. The image is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive photo paper, which guarantees exceptional colour reproduction and razor-sharp details. It is then glued to a sturdy dibond layer and finished with 5 mm thick matt acrylic glass (anti-reflection). Thanks to the special matt finish, unwanted reflections are kept to a minimum, without compromising colour depth and contrast. This ensures a calm, elegant appearance under all lighting conditions. Moreover, the acrylic glass offers protection against UV radiation and discolouration, so the artwork retains its splendour for years. Depending on the image-maker's choice, this artwork comes with a blind hanging system or a luxury wooden floating (tray) frame in coated Black, White or Veneer wood colours.
